A Kensington Private Journey · 26 July – 3 August 2027
Nine nights. One kingdom. One unforgettable sky.
Nine quietly spectacular days through Morocco — riads of Marrakech, the painted kasbahs, a private camp beneath the Saharan stars — gathering at last in Tangier for one of the rarest celestial appointments of our lifetime: the total solar eclipse of August 2, 2027.
An Overture
We have quietly crafted this passage over several months to immerse you authentically in your destination and connect you meaningfully with people who call it home. Eleven seats. One extraordinary horizon. From the rose-walled riads of Marrakech to the palm oases of Skoura, from the towering ergs of Merzouga to the cobalt-blue lanes of Chefchaouen, every mile has been considered, every evening composed.
Your driver knows your name. Your astronomer knows the sky. Your chef has prepared the tagine that has been in his family for four generations. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is shared with strangers.
“In the desert, time is not measured. It is given.”
The Culmination · 2 August 2027
On the morning of August 2, 2027, the Atlantic coast of Morocco will fall under one of the longest total solar eclipses of the century — the moon’s shadow racing across Tangier in absolute totality. We will be there, on a private terrace above the strait, glasses raised as the stars vanquish daylight.
4 minutes 51 seconds — a rare and prolonged window of total darkness.
A reserved private terrace overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar in Tangier.
Private tours led by specialist-guides who are experts in their fields.
